2 Weeks...Already!

I can't even believe that Emma is already just over 2 weeks old.  I'm already sad time is going by so fast.  She has been an amazing little addition to our family.  I can't even remember life without her, it just feels so right to have her here.  She had her 2 week check-up today, and Dr. says she looks perfect.  She's up to 8 lbs 1 oz and 21 1/2 inches.  We had some issues with breast-feeding in the beginning, and she wasn't gaining weight very fast and was very fussy, but the last week or so has gone really well, and it's nice to see she's growing and is healthy.  We're so grateful for our little baby girl!  Here are a few pics from the last couple of weeks:

Breakfast With Santa

On Saturday, our church held a Breakfast with Santa activity for the primary and nursery aged kids.  David took Molly, and she had a great time.  I think this was the first year we got a picture of Molly with Santa where she wasn't crying.  They also did the nativity story with all the kids, and Molly was Mary.  She looks pretty cute in her big bathrobe.  It must have made some impact on her, because during this week I've had lots of questions about baby Jesus and His birth.  Maybe it just hits home for her because of Emma just being born, I don't know.  Today in the car we listened to Silent Night, and Molly was very curious about why Jesus was sleeping on hay.  I realized how hard it is to sometimes explain these things we just take for granted to a 3 year old who is trying to learn it all for the first time.  Anyway, here's some pics from the activity:
Finally it's not traumatic meeting Santa.

Cute little "Mary".
